Our theme for the evening will be "The Stellar Wines from Peake Ranch Winery."
The winery is one of the top growers in the Santa Rita Hills and Santa Maria Valley AVAs owning 1,600 total acres in three vineyards with almost 400 planted to grape vines.
With their emphasis on farming, they sell the vast majority of the grapes they grow to several well-known wine producers including Duckhorn, Kosta Brown, Foxen, Dragonette, Paul Lato and others.
That being said, they are also known for their production of outstanding wines under their own label, producing Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Rhone varietals with scores of 94-96 points. In a word, their wines are delicious!
While Brian Ruttencutter, our in-house "somm," will be serving as master of ceremonies for this dinner, the evening will also feature one or two executives from the winery who will talk about their history, production and the wines themselves.
This delicious array of wines will be perfectly paired with an accompanying gourmet dinner prepared by a highly-regarded chef-caterer from Orange County.
